Sleep Update

Now that we've entered week five, Dave and I are starting to feel a little more rested. Not because we're getting more sleep (we really aren't) but more so because we're used to less sleep. Cole is still getting up to eat at 10, 2 or 3, and 5 or 6. Yesterday we got a great four and a half hour stretch of sleep. Woo hoo!

If you have children and have a tip for getting them to sleep longer stretches of time at night, let us know. We're using the Baby Whisperer's method now, so hopefully we'll see some results soon. Cole's a bit of a night owl and likes to stay up from 7 to 10, but we'll keep trying!

I hate to tell you that Fiona did a 9, 2, and 6 feeding for at least 4-6 months so 4 hours of sleep at a stretch is pretty normal. (boy am I not looking forward to that!)

He'll likely start going to bed earlier around 3 months - at least that's when Fiona finally stopped being awake and fussy - her hours were 8-11. Luckily I would feed her and go to bed and Stephen stayed up with her since I was going to get up at 2.

Hope everything is going well!
